Following the successful completed of the Door & Hardware Federation’s Safety Assured Diploma training course, Astbury are able to proudly state that we are official “Safety Assured”.
This accreditation will pave the way for a new chapter in gate safety and help to reduce the number of deaths and serious injuries caused by poor powered gate installations.
The course, held at CAME’s training facility in Stockport was split into 6 individual modules:
1 – Law
2 – Standards
3 – Risk Assessments
4 – Testing & Inspection
5 – Documentation
6 – Repair & Maintenance
After each module there was a ‘test’ with a final exam at the end of the course. Passes had to be gained in all modules and the final exam to successfully pass the course and gain the accreditation.
